I think out of anyone on here I can say I've had the most dental anesthesia. The feeling is alightly annoying for a bit, but not annoying enough that I'd pay extra to speed up the process.

I don't get it. How long does it normally take for a person to clear up?

I had 2 wisdom teeth out 3 months ago and the entire procedure, from when they started giving me the gas to when I got out of the chair, was less than an hour.

everyone is different some people clear it faster some slower. how much anesthetic used is also a factor.

i wouldnt use this on an extraction patient. and getting gas is a different story altogether. im just talking about the numb feeling you get from the local anesthetic. it can be reversed faster than letting it go on its own. but its pricey. would you pay $15 for it?

Why would I want to get rid of the one thing keeping the pain away? Once the anesthesia wears off I am usually in pain. Why would I want that?

Oh, ok. You mean the needle, the novacaine? Hmm. I might consider it. I've had it last 8-10 hours after a procedure. Very frustrating.

For $5 I would definitely do it. At $10 or $15 I would have to think about it.

most people are afraid of the needle. they wouldn't voluntarily get a second shot, especially if the effects aren't instantaneous and they're still going to be numb afterward (albeit for a shorter amount of time).
